Wladimir Klitschko mourns former fiancée Hayden Panettiere, vows to keep her memory alive for daughter Kaya
Klitschko said Panettiere’s death left him in shock and grief as investigators said no trauma was found and the cause remains pending.
On Sunday, actress Hayden Panettiere died at age 36, prompting former partner Klitschko to write on Instagram that her "tragic death saddens me deeply."
Police in Greenville, South Carolina, discovered Panettiere in cardiac arrest with "no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances" at the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner's autopsy found "no signs of trauma" contributing to her death, though the cause and manner remain pending further investigation.
Panettiere's father, Skip, requested privacy for the family to "take time to process this unimaginable loss," describing her as an "incredible light and a force of nature."
Klitschko pledged to speak of Panettiere with respect to their daughter, Kaya, ensuring she remembers the person her mother was despite their separation.
