It is not just light cars that offer BYD in Europe. The Chinese manufacturer is betting on new trucks, with a model that can regain 400 km of autonomy in 20 minutes.
On 14 September 2026, on the eve of the opening of the IAA Transportation show in Hanover, Euro NCAP delivered its first safety results on electric long-distance trucks. The BYD ETT 44, a Chinese electric tractor unknown to the segment, picked up five stars from its first passage.
