Outdoors Lovers Find New I-94 Destination in Outdoorica
Revenue and web traffic rose more than 200% in 2026 as the dealership added brands and drew thousands of Interstate 94 motorists daily.
Since opening a little more than a year ago in Albany, Minnesota, the family-owned dealership Outdoorica has experienced steady growth, with revenue and website traffic increasing by more than 200% in 2026.
Co-Owners Shannon Bertram, CEO, and Dean Goebel, President, started the venture after a BB Wheels employee considered buying an Amish hunting blind from Texas for $500 less than local pricing.
Brent Mellesmoen of Franklin Outdoor Advertising encouraged the pair to become an Ice Castle dealer; Bertram then purchased 14 Ice Castles after meeting with owners Jeff and Brett Drexler.
Goebel said they prefer shipping from Garfield, Minnesota, to Albany over South Carolina, a 45-minute route that supports local manufacturers and reduces product costs.
Outdoorica expanded its marketing by teaming up with influencer Hunter Schleper, who promotes products to more than 12,000 Facebook followers, while adding brands like Stihl and Cub Cadet.
