Burn Ban lifted for Cass County

The Open Burn Ban for Cass County was lifted effective Oct. 22 at 5 p.m., according to an email from Cass County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Kennon.

Burn ban issued for Marion County

A burn ban is now in affect for residents of Marion County. According to a press release from Marion County Judge Jason Stumph, the burn ban was issued due to extremely dangerous and dry conditions. Cass County Burn Ban Lifted

(Cass Co) The Open Burn Ban for Cass County was lifted at 5:00 PM Tuesday. Though the Burn Ban has been lifted, Cass County EMA Coordinator Mike Kennon and County Fire Chiefs ask that you burn responsibly. Supervise the burning of brush piles and other control burns. Also, discuss large burns with your local Fire Department and let the Dispatch Center know about your plans by calling 243-2204.
