The RN candidate believes that a President of the Republic could change an existing budget more quickly. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu will release his budget copy on 30 September.
The patroness of the RN MPs expressed her wish, this Saturday, before parliamentarians of the party gathered in Touquet (Seine-Maritime), to vote for an "incorrect" budget this autumn rather than a special law.
In the event of a victory in the presidential election of 2027, it would therefore be easier for the leader of the nationalist party to review the budget copy.
