New nuclear power plants make Switzerland dependent, cost billions and slow down renewable energies, according to a coalition of Greens, PS, PVL and organisations. It opposes the counter-project to the Stop Blackout initiative.
The voter should have the last word on the lifting of the ban on the construction of nuclear power plants. A centre-left alliance has taken the referendum against the decision of the Federal Council and Parliament.
From now on, signatures will be collected against new nuclear power plants in Switzerland.
