UK Resumes Funding Palestinian Aid Agency
The UK will recommence funding the United Nations’ relief agency for Palestinian refugees, Foreign Secretary David Lammy has confirmed. Future funding for the relief agency was paused in January after allegations 12 of its staff were involved in the 7 October attacks in Israel. But the foreign secretary says he has been "reassured" by an independent review and UNRWA's work is "absolutely central" amid the war.
