Bridge to fallen Constable dedicated in Madoc Township

A small bridge in Madoc Township has been dedicated to a police constable who died in an incident almost a century ago. The OPP held a dedication ceremony Thursday at the bridge over the Moira River at the intersection of Highway 62 and Kellers Bridge Road. The bridge will now be named the Constable Charles W.
