A large-scale operation was launched in Seferihisar district of Izmir following allegations of a bribery scheme involving zoning permits, construction licenses, and public tenders.
A fourth wave of operations was conducted in the investigation targeting Seferihisar Municipality. Simultaneous raids were carried out at numerous addresses in the early morning hours, and dozens of people were reportedly taken into custody.
