- A week before the Federal Court hearing, Bob Brown Foundation’s legal challenge was nullified, with Mr Allan saying it is a disgrace that a species identified as a priority threatened species in 2022 has been purposely abandoned by 2025.
- Earlier this year, The Australia Institute warned that EPBC amendments could drive the endangered Maugean skate, with only 40 remaining in Macquarie Harbour.
