A vaccine against zika developed by Brazilian researchers has been shown to be effective against the virus in laboratory mice and is ready for clinical trials, science sources said on Friday, and the formula was highly effective in mice trials and was able to induce the organism to generate an immune response against the pathogenic agent and protect animals from infection, according to the São Paulo State Research Foundation.
