Falcons rally to tie Ohio State, lose in shootout

The BGSU hockey team (8-5-4) drew the Ohio State Buckeyes (6-10-1) 2-2 in regulation for their fourth draw of the season, in a Friday game in Columbus. The result also gives the Buckeyes their first tie of the season. The scoring opened with a goal by Buckeye senior forward Jake Dunlap in the first period. Bowling Green Surges Late and Forces Tie at Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Bowling Green (8-5-4) ice hockey team entered the third period trailing the Ohio State Buckeyes (6-10-1) by two goals, 2-0, before scoring two-straight of its own to force overtime. Neither team was able to score as Friday's game ended in a 2-2 tie, inside Value City Arena.
