Body of alleged triple murderer Julian Ingram believed to have been found near Lake Cargelligo
Police said the remains were found beside a ute after a months-long manhunt, and a $250,000 reward had been offered for information.
Julian Ingram, a 37-year-old former council gardener, was found dead after being on the run since January 22 following a triple shooting in Lake Cargelligo that resulted in multiple deaths.
The shootings caused the deaths of Sophie Quinn, Ingram's pregnant ex-partner, John Harris, and Nerida Quinn, while Kaleb Macqueen survived despite being shot.
Ingram's body was discovered near an abandoned white Ford Utility vehicle about 50 kilometers northwest of Lake Cargelligo at Roundhill Nature Reserve.
Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland confirmed the body was in a highly decomposed state and announced a police press conference regarding the discovery.
