Bloomsbury Money appoints new head of compliance
Chris Clarke will oversee compliance as Bloomsbury Money adds regulatory leadership during a wider Jersey expansion plan, the company said.
On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Bloomsbury Money, the digital banking division of DMALINK Jersey Limited, secured a Money Service Business license from the Jersey Financial Services Commission .
Choosing Jersey as its headquarters allows Bloomsbury Money to leverage the island's political stability and sophisticated legal system while adhering to global Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism standards.
Concurrent with the license approval, Bloomsbury Money appointed Chris Clarke, formerly of Oak Group, as Head of Compliance to oversee regulatory affairs and Anti-Money Laundering frameworks supporting the firm's growth.
Leveraging the new license, the firm is launching Multi-Currency IBAN Accounts, high-speed cross-border payments, and a 24/7 digital banking interface providing real-time asset oversight for institutional and private clients.
Co-Founder Michael Siwek welcomed Clarke, stating his "pragmatic approach to regulation" and Jersey market expertise are vital as Bloomsbury Money scales operations and bridges traditional banking with the digital future.
