- Following his 2022 LP Alpha Games, frontman Kele Okereke wrote Anatomy as a memoir-like 'chronological portrait of a love affair' documenting his separation and unexpected new romance.
- Horn, who has over 50 years of experience producing records, collaborated with Okereke as the band debuted 'Love Bombs' and 'Pigwig' live this March at BBC 6 Music Festival.
- Contagious Ltd., a new Virgin Music Group imprint, will issue the album as its maiden release, while Okereke noted he now feels 'less prudish about sex and connection and intimacy.'
