Blazers Complete First Scrimmage of Spring - UAB Athletics
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB football completed its first scrimmage on Friday morning at Legacy Pavilion, running 112 plays in a fast, physical session. The scrimmage provided an early look at a team still taking shape under first-year head coach Alex Mortensen- and showcased flashes on both sides of the ball. "I feel like it went fairly well," Mortensen said. "It was fast, it was physical, which was a good sign to start with."
