Court approves Child Safety Fund allocation, recognizes Grand Champion
After tabling a decision on the allocation of Child Safety Fund resources at the previous week’s commissioners court meeting in order to get more information about the work of the Shelby County Welfare Board, the commissioners voted unanimously during their April 2 meeting to distribute the $11,763.59 in the fund with two-thirds going to the Child Advocacy Center and one-third going to CASA of Deep East Texas.
