BOWLING GREEN – The Bowling Green State University hockey team skated to another tie against Notre Dame, ending regulation tied 2-2 before falling in a shootout to the Big Ten foe in its final non-conference game of the season.
Bowling Green and Notre Dame Play to an Electric 2-2 Tie
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (14-6-6) and Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-18-3) played an exciting contest that required overtime and a shootout before the sold-out Slater Family Ice Arena crowd could head home. The crowd of 5,000 saw the teams skate to a 2-2 tie, which Notre Dame finished with a shootout goal in the eighth round. The shootout result had no bearing on the non-conference contest.
