Beshear reverses 4 percent Kentucky Medicaid provider cuts

An unexpected corporate tax payment and a $476 million surplus let Beshear spare providers from a 4% Medicaid cut through this fiscal year.

Thanks to an “unanticipated” corporate income tax payment and revenue surplus, Gov. Andy Beshear announced Wednesday that Medicaid providers will not suffer a 4 percent reimbursement cut after all.
