Berkshire Hathaway BRKa.N announced on Friday that it had increased its investment in Alphabet GOOGL.O by 83% during the second quarter, making Google's parent company and YouTube its third largest shareholding.Berkshire indicated in a paper presented to regulatory authorities that, as at 30 June, it held about 106 million shares of Alphabet worth approximately $37.8 billion, compared to 57.8 million shares that it had three months earlier.
