Bell Co. Sheriff’s Dept. warns of phone scam

The Bell County Sheriff’s Department has issued a scam alert after receiving multiple complaints about calls for “Federal Jury Duty.” According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the caller tells a would-be victim that they are with the Bell County Sheriff’s Department and they have a warrant out for their arrest for not appearing for jury duty.
