Beach used as toilet in Cornish village blighted by boozy bad behaviour

- Porthilly Spirit Distillery Ltd, the operator, reported no police call-outs during two seasons and clarified the venue is a table-service restaurant, not a 'beach bar.'
- The application proposes normal lunch operations between noon and 6pm with alcohol sales ending at 5:30pm, plus a maximum of 10 late-night events yearly with service ceasing at 10:30pm.
- Critics argue the nearest public toilets are a 7/9-minute walk away via steep, unlit paths, while the restaurant insists it proactively manages customer behavior with marshals and clear instructions.
