During the closing of the debate in the generality of the budget proposal in Parliament, Fabian Figueiredo compared the current executive PSD/CDS-PP to the French aristocratic nobility of the 18th century, pointing out that in October 1789, the women of Paris went up to Versailles because of the price of bread and the king returned with them to the city.
Fabian Figueiredo protested against the proposal and added that he will take it to the stage of the specialty "with what the palace does not realize: that the salary has to come to life".
The Member of the Left Block, Fabian Figueiredo, criticized the State Budget for 2027, accusing the government of being a "paved caste" and comparing it to the French nobility of Versailles.
