Singh won with 47.44% of the vote, defeating three rivals and giving the BC Conservatives a new MLA in the riding.
On Oct. 24, 2026, Conservative candidate Pavneet Singh was elected as the new MLA for Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream, securing 10,453 votes with one ballot box remaining to be counted.
Singh defeated NDP candidate Binny Boparai, Green candidate Carter Mochinski, and OneBC candidate Alexandra Wright to secure the riding, establishing Conservative representation in the district.
Media, including Black Press, were barred by Conservative campaign managers from listening to Singh's victory speech at the Fairfield Inn on Powick Road in Kelowna on Oct. 24.
Singh thanked volunteers and supporters for their campaign efforts and confirmed availability for media interviews at a later date following the victory.
"Today is not the time for media interviews, today is for the volunteers, family and friends who supported us," Singh told media, underscoring his priority on supporters.
