Baseball: Experience gained during 7-11 season should pay dividends for Nevis

NEVIS – With only three players with extensive varsity experience, head coach Larry Franck figured the Nevis baseball team would go through some growing pains this spring. That young group struggled at times at the plate and in the field as a .217 team batting average with 141 strikeouts and 60 errors in the field that led to 60 unearned runs resulted in a 7-11 season, including a 6-4 record for fifth place in the Northland Conference standings.…
