Their working conditions and compliance with health and safety rules are at stake.
MONTREAL — Following the announcement of the inauguration of 14 new stations on the new Deux-Montagnes antenna of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), employees of the REM will be demonstrating against their working conditions on Saturday. Employees unionized about six months ago and are about to discuss their first collective agreement, but the union is already worried about the upcoming negotiations.
