The Border Security Force (BSF) has once again foiled a major gold smuggling attempt at the India-Bangladesh border in Nadia. 15 kg 607 grams of gold was recovered from a woman. The BSF claims that the estimated market value of the seized gold is ₹24 crore 95 lakh 56 thousand.

The gold was seized at the Banpur border in West Bengal's Nadia district. The smuggling came to light when the jawans noticed a woman moving suspiciously and detained her.
