The Commission for the Financial Market (CMF) reports that its Council sanctioned two banks, for granting loans to persons listed in the National Register of Food Pension Debtors, not complying with Act No. 14.908 on the Abandonment of Families and the Payment of Food Pensions.
The regulatory body sanctioned Banco Santander and Banco de Chile for failing to retain credit funds to pay maintenance debts.
