AWS Previews AgentCore to Jumpstart Enterprise AI Agents

NEW YORK CITY, JUL 16 – AWS launched Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to help enterprises scale AI agents into production with secure runtimes, identity services, and marketplace access, reducing build times by up to 30%.

  • On July 17, 2025, Amazon Web Services launched Amazon Bedrock AgentCore at the AWS Summit in New York City, with preview availability in select regions.
  • Amid rising enterprise demand for reliable AI agents, AWS developed AgentCore to address production-grade workflow support, as organizations struggle to move AI agents from pilot projects to production environments.
  • Available in preview now, AgentCore Runtime, Memory, Identity, Gateway, Code Interpreter, Browser Tool and Observability services, and the runtime uses Nitro for session, service and memory isolation.
  • Several companies granted early access, and they are building production-grade agentic applications across finance, healthcare, marketing and content management.
