The manufacturer Yara has just inaugurated the largest European plant dedicated to the retention of carbon dioxide in Sluiskil. This complex captures and liquefies 800,000 tonnes of gas per year. Then transported by ship, CO2 is permanently sequestered under the North Sea. This approach allows the fertilizer giant to drastically reduce its environmental penalties.
