Audit: GOHSEP didn’t meet reporting rules for $125.9M in federal flood prevention money

Auditors found that the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness did not meet reporting requirements for the Flood Mitigation Assistance program. GOHSEP said in a reply that they concur with the finding and are working to remedy the problems that led to entering some data late. As of June 30, auditors said, GOH SEP hadn't put any information on 50 subawards into the federal reporting system.
