LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Sweden's Mondo Duplantis soared 6.21 metres to win the Lausanne Diamond League pole vault on Thursday, narrowly missing two world-record attempts in a positive performance after a few shaky weeks.
Swedish star Armand Duplantis won the pole vault with a meeting record of 6.21 meters in the opening event of the Diamond League in Lausanne. At a height of 6.32 meters, which is one centimeter above the world record he achieved on March 12 this year in his home city of Uppsala
