AT&T Signs Lease for Large Space at Travelers Tower II in Southfield

AT&T has signed a lease for 157,000 square feet of office space at Travelers Tower II in Southfield, according to Newmark, a commercial real estate advisor and service provider that represented the landlord, Time Equities Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Newmark arranged a 157,642-square-foot lease at Travelers Tower II, a 13-story Class-A office building in Southfield, Michigan. Newmark Executive Managing Director Daniel Canvasser and Managing Director J.P. Champine represented the landlord, Time Equities, Inc., in the transaction. The tenant was represented by AJ Weiner and Dave MacDonald of JLL. Travelers Towers comprises two interconnected office buildings totaling 810,460 square feet on a 21-acre site, supported by a multi-level parking structure and ample surface parking.The complex’s’ tenant roster is diversified including Lucid Motors, R1, MetLife, Willis Towers Watson, RXO and S&P, to name a few. The property has undergone extensive capital improvements, including upgrades to the fitness center; renovated lobbies, café and restrooms; elevator modernization; HVAC upgrades; and updated signage and artwork. The property also offers a conference center, tenant lounge, outdoor patios and a range of on-site retail and services, including Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Captain Jay’s, Poke Poke, Gateway Deli and Samoon. Following the lease, approximately 33,786 square feet remains available at Travelers Tower II. Located along Evergreen Road in Southfield, Travelers Towers provides convenient access to I-696, M-10/Northwestern Highway, M-39/Southfield Freeway, U.S. 24/Telegraph Road and other major regional thoroughfares. The property is also near a range of retail, dining, hospitality and recreational amenities, as well as Lawrence Technological University and the Southfield municipal complex.
