ASU Civil Engineer Available to Address Failings That Caused Collapse of the World Trade Center

Twenty-five years later, engineering students at Arizona State University continue to learn about structural factors that contributed to the collapse of World Trade Center buildings following the airplane impacts on 9/11. ASU Civil engineering professor Barzin Mobasher’s course relies heavily on WTC investigation reports from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He also includes the findings of his own mentor, Zdeněk P. Bažant, a professor of civil engin
