The Federal Office for Roads is examining new ramp doses on more than 120 motorway access routes. This is critical of cantons and cities – as congestion on the main roads is threatening.
The Federal Office for Roads (OFROU) is planning to deploy more than 120 fire-fighting devices to regulate access to motorways at peak times, reports Le Matin Sunday. Fifteen such installations are already in operation, including one in French-speaking Switzerland, on the A1, near Cossonay (VD). But they are not unanimous.
The Federal Office of Roads wants to make motorway traffic with ramp dosing ramps more liquid. Cantons and cities criticise that they have not been included in the planning so far.
