The United States has provided guarantees requested by the London Supreme Court that could pave the way for the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, to be extradited from the United Kingdom. Last month, the Supreme Court ruled that, without some US guarantees, Assange, 52, would be allowed to file a new appeal against his extradition.
