Asian American Engineer of the Year Award and Conference Announces First Phase of 2025-2026 Awardees
The annual STEM awards program will honor more than 300 past and present Asian American leaders, organizers said.
On Friday, the AAEOY Executive Committee announced the first phase of 2025-2026 awardees, recognizing distinguished Asian American professionals across academia, industry, and public service.
The Chinese Institute of Engineers in USA , founded in 1917, hosts this program as a cornerstone of National Engineers Week; since 2002, the initiative has recognized over 300 honorees.
Notable recipients include Stanford University Dean Arun Majumdar, Samsung Electronics Corporate Executive Vice President Jungwon Lee, and Western Digital Chief Technology Officer Xiaodong Che, alongside Synopsys Vice President Brandon Wang and Bosch Research Vice President Liu Ren.
These awards support professional advancement and leadership development within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields, serving as a beacon of inspiration for the global STEM community.
Following a series of impactful ceremonies nationwide, the 2025-2026 AAEOY Award and Conference returns to the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley on September 18-19, 2026.
