Capable of reaching long ranges and possessing high destructive power thanks to its deployable wings, the KGK-84 can operate in all weather conditions, day and night. Equipped with a 'fire-and-forget' capability, the KGK-84 can reach a range of 100 kilometers when launched from F-16 fighter jets.
The KGK-84 Wing Guidance Kit developed by Aselsan successfully completed the first qualifying range shot from the F-16. Converting free-fall bombs into smart munitions, the system offers warplanes the ability to attack from 100 kilometers without getting into the range of enemy air defenses.
