Arrest Follows Death of Man in West Lothian
Police are investigating a suspected shooting and possible links to nearby fires as specialist officers support the victim’s family.
Police Scotland confirmed a 57-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death of Billy Watson, 35, at a property on Harestanes Road, Armadale.
Emergency services responded to Harestanes Road around 11.50am on Saturday, September 12, following reports of an injured man; Police Scotland described Watson's death as a "targeted attack."
Detectives are investigating whether a car fire at Netherhouses and a blaze at a derelict building on Wotherspoon Road are linked to the death as forensic teams continue inquiries.
