Approximately half a million visitors failed to receive the prize mail Tim Hortons was sued in a collective case

The Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons, which launched its traditional Roll up to Win promotion in March, mistakenly mailed about half a million customers with a boat claiming to be one of them. Although the company also mailed corrections and apologies, the customers did not buy the book and decided to file a lawsuit against the coffee giant. Tim Hortons said the lawsuit was "unworthy".
