Appeal for information following theft of 5,500 sheep near Blackall

Detectives from the Rural and Stock Crime Squad are appealing for public assistance following the theft of approximately 5,500 dorper sheep from a property outside of Blackall on the Blackall- Isisford Road. Investigations indicate the dorper ewes and rams were stolen between February and May 2026. The sheep are fitted with white National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) tags.
