Murray to Join Draper's Team Ahead of Wimbledon
Murray will provide interim support after Draper split with Jamie Delgado and has played only five matches this year.
On Tuesday, three-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray joined the coaching team of British player Jack Draper to support him throughout the upcoming grass-court season.
Draper parted ways with coach Jamie Delgado, who previously worked with Murray during his ascent to world No. 1, following a recent team shake-up.
This role marks Murray's first formal coaching position since his partnership with 24-time major winner Novak Djokovic ended in May of last year after six months of underwhelming results.
Struggling with fitness this year, Draper has won only five matches and withdrew from the French Open due to a knee injury.
Murray will support Draper throughout the grass-court season, with the pair targeting a strong performance at Wimbledon next month before the HSBC Championships.
