Scientists have announced the discovery of a new snake in the Galapagos Islands. As it turned out, the species called Pseudalsophis eibli was for many years mistaken for a snake inhabiting a neighboring island. This, however, is an endemic species that only inhabits the San Cristobal area. According to the researchers, the species is endangered.
