Following a downpour in Bartın that brought 35 kilograms of rainfall per square meter in 18 hours, the color of the Bartın River, which flows through the city center, changed due to alluvium, and foaming appeared in the river in the morning. Upon notification, teams from the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change went to the area and took water samples to determine the cause of the foaming.
