Following the completion of the construction of residential buildings for German soldiers at the Rūdninkai training ground, Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas says that the work is progressing according to plan, and the infrastructure will be ready in time for the entire brigade moving to Lithuania.
The construction of residential buildings for soldiers of the German brigade has been officially completed at the Rūdninkai training ground - part of the first phase of the 127 million euro (including VAT) military town.
On Monday, October 5, at 2 p.m., Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas will participate in a symbolic oak tree planting ceremony at the Rūdninkai Military Camp, marking an important milestone in the development of infrastructure for the German brigade – the completion of the construction of Phase I residential buildings for the brigade's soldiers.
The Ministry of National Defence (MND) will present the construction progress of the first phase of the military town being developed at the Rūdninkai training ground on Monday.
