Kipruto takes maiden London Marathon title, Yehualaw storms to victory
Kenyan Amos Kipruto won his first London Marathon title on Sunday and Ethiopia's Yalemzerf Yehualaw stormed to victory in the women's race ahead of last year's winner Joyciline Jepkosgei.

Yalemzerf Yehualaw of Ethiopia became the youngest ever female winner of the London Marathon, spectacularly recovering after tripping on a speed bump with six miles remaining. The fall sent her sprawling, caused considerable soreness to her hip and knee, and left her at least 25 metres back on the leading pack.
