Amendment allowing Official Plan amendment recommended for new housing
Hastings County’s Planning Committee is recommending council approve an Official Plan amendment that could lead to a new housing development in the northern part of the village of Stirling. A landowner is proposing to build a small subdivision on almost two hectares of vacant land that can be accessed from Edward Street. If approved, the development would include 13 single-family homes and two blocks of townhouses with a total of eight units.
