A local band called Ambush was a popular group that played all around the local scene in the 1980s and 90s. The original band was a quartet from Mobridge. Guitarists Boyce Bender, Destry “Dexter” Pleinis and John Unterseher and drummer Bryce Feist performed together from 1984 to 1986. All four are Mobridge High School graduates.
