Last year, guests booked around 951.6 million overnight stays in EU countries via online platforms Airbnb, Booking and Expedia, which is 11.4 percent more than the previous year and 32.4 percent more than in 2023, according to the European statistics office Eurostat. At the peak of the summer season, the Croatian coast was the most popular.
