Aldi Announces Change to 300 Products Across All UK Stores This Summer
The supermarket said the cuts include steaks, fruit and vegetables, while families can enter a daily £50 grocery giveaway through August.
Aldi is cutting prices on 330 products this summer, investing £100 million to help families manage grocery costs alongside over 1,000 items already discounted earlier this year.
Among the significant savings, shoppers can save 80p on 21-Day Matured Sirloin Steak and 21-Day Matured Ribeye Steak, while nectarines, honeydew melons, and Lacura SPF50+ Sensitive Lotion have also seen reductions.
Supporting families through the summer, the supermarket relaunched its Summer Support Scheme, providing a £50 voucher to one family every day throughout July and August, totaling £3,000.
Beyond temporary discounts, the retailer is pursuing a £1.4 billion expansion plan to reach 1,500 stores by the end of 2027, with 25 priority locations identified including sites in Scotland.
Consumer watchdog Which? recently named Aldi the "Best Value Brand of the Year," beating rival Lidl, and recognized the German supermarket as the UK's cheapest retailer for every month of 2026.
